Are you a mom trying to balance a career, raise a toddler who thinks sleep is optional, keep your home from turning into a laundry fort, and maybe—just maybe—still flirt with your partner before passing out on the couch?

Listen, life right now might feel like a chaotic improv act where you’re juggling work emails, sippy cups, Amazon returns, and your sanity—all while smiling through it like you’ve got it under control. Spoiler: most of us don’t. And that’s more than okay.


This space is for the women doing their best with what they’ve got—who are tired, tender, hilarious, hopeful, and figuring it all out one meltdown (theirs or their toddler’s) at a time.

Because while we may not have it all balanced… we’re still showing up. And that? That’s magic.✨


Let’s face it: balancing a career, raising a toddler, managing a household, and keeping a relationship alive is basically an Olympic sport—except the only medal you get is cold coffee and a pile of laundry.

Here are 7 funny-but-actually-helpful tips for surviving the beautiful chaos:


1. Prioritize and Set Goals

  • Identify Priorities: Decide what’s actually important. Is it your toddler’s nap? That Zoom meeting? Finishing your coffee while it’s still warm? Trick question. It’s all three.

  • Set Realistic Goals: And by realistic, we mean things like “shower today” or “fold one load of laundry (maybe).” Dream big, queen.


2. Create a Structured Routine

  • Daily Schedule: Try blocking out time for work, family, and crying in the pantry. Kidding! (Kind of.)

  • Flexibility: Leave space for chaos. Because toddlers don’t care about your Google Calendar.


3. Communicate Openly

  • With Your Partner: Let them know what you need—even if it’s just five uninterrupted minutes to pee alone.

  • With Your Employer: You’re still a rockstar, even if you show up to meetings with a juice stain and a toddler in the background. Transparency > Perfection.


4. Make Time for Yourself

  • Self-Care: Block it in your calendar like a business meeting. Go sit in the car and eat cookies in peace. That’s wellness.

  • Personal Interests: Do something that makes you feel like you. Dance to 2000s throwbacks. Start a blog (hi!). Paint your nails in silence.


5. Involve Your Partner

  • Shared Responsibilities: You’re not the only adult in the house. Pass the mental load baton and let someone else Google "how to clean slime off carpet."

  • Quality Time Together: Binge-watch a show, eat snacks, don’t talk. It counts as romance if you do it on the same couch.


6. Utilize Support Systems

  • Family and Friends: Ask for help. Seriously. Let your people show up for you.

  • Professional Help: Hire the cleaner, order the takeout, use the grocery delivery. Time is currency. Spend it wisely.


7. Embrace Imperfection

  • Let Go of Perfection: No one is nailing it 100% of the time. Instagram is lying to you.

  • Celebrate Small Wins: Everyone fed? Dressed-ish? Minimal screaming? You’re crushing it.


Being a mom, partner, and professional is hard. Like, really hard. But you’re not alone. You’re doing your best. And that’s more than enough.
